How to use: it is recommended to dissolve 3 scoops (equal to 9 g) in 200 ml of water and take once a day.
Collagen
Collagen is the protein most present in our body; together with elastin, it guarantees elasticity and strength of skin, bones, tendons and joints.
With the progression of age and cellular aging, the body reduces the production of this protein, while the already existing collagen degrades causing the loss of strength and tone of the skin. Other causes may be an unbalanced diet, intense sports activity, stress, smoking and caffeine. The consequence of this depletion is not only the decay of the epidermal structure but also the beginning of problems related to the bones, joints and tendons and even the weakening of the immune system.
Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen.
It is a fibrous protein with strong anti-aging properties, obtained from the scales and skin of saltwater fish such as salmon or cod. The hydrolysis process allows to keep intact the pharmacological properties and to promote digestibility and bioavailability; but above all, the hydrolyzed form reduces the size of this molecule making it able to cross the intestinal barrier and reach the bloodstream accumulating in the skin and tissues up to 96 hours after intake.
Rich in Omega 3, fatty acids and essential amino acids, it is used in supplement form as it brings numerous benefits to the body:
Bones: Collagen supports healthy bone tissue; it stimulates regeneration, maintaining mineral density and improving strength and solidity
Hyaluronic Acid.
Hyaluronic Acid is a natural substance present in the human body and it is essential to hydrate tissues and keep the skin elastic. With advancing age, there is a decrease in its presence in the tissues and consequently an increase in the formation of wrinkles and blemishes.
Discovered in 1930 and defined as "the fountain of youth" in addition to the anti-aging properties of the skin, has the ability to accelerate the healing of wounds, burns and ulcers also internal such as aphthae, stomatitis etc..
Used together with Collagen protein, it also has the property of lubricating and preserving the synovial fluid present in the joints, preventing the onset of arthrosis.
Hyaluronic Acid is a powerful regenerator of connective tissue as it maintains hydration, viscosity and elasticity.
Asiatic Pennywort
Herbaceous perennial plant, coming from tropical and subtropical regions of India and South America.
Rich in triterpene derivatives, tannins and bioflavonoids, Centella Asiatica is well known as phlebotonic in the states of venous insufficiency and as a complement in the treatment of cellulite; moreover, Centella Asiatica has the ability to stimulate collagen synthesis, ensuring a marked improvement in the degree of hydration, firmness and elasticity of the skin.
Vitamin C
Peptide chains that make up collagen fibers, are composed of hydroxyproline which is a fundamental amino acid in maintaining the stability of collagen. This amino acid is produced by the hydroxylation of proline, a reaction that occurs only if Vitamin C is present, which as we know is not synthesized by man but must be introduced with diet or supplementation. The deficiency of this vitamin, strongly compromises the stability of collagen by inhibiting the regeneration of new fibers. It is therefore clear the importance of vitamin C for the synthesis of collagen, the contrast of skin aging phenomena and the health of tissues in general.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E like vitamin C is not synthesized by the human body and must be taken through diet and supplementation. It has a high antioxidant activity, as it is able to neutralize the activity of free radicals, the main culprits of skin aging and cellular damage.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D is one of the essential vitamins that our body cannot do without; for example it is essential for the absorption of calcium in the intestine, kidney and bone. There are many cells that possess its receptors, an indication of how important this pro-hormone is in the regulation of many cellular activities. These include those of the epidermis and dermis and skin cells such as fibroblasts. It regulates the proliferation of cells that make up the superficial layer of the epidermis and the quality of the hydrolipidic film, giving the skin a luminous and healthy appearance.
Copper
It is a mineral with strong antioxidant properties. Present in all organic tissues, it favors the assimilation of iron by the intestine and promotes cell growth and respiration. It also increases the production of elastin and the formation of collagen, prevents wrinkles and sagging skin.
Zinc
Folic Acid (Vitamin B9)
Folic acid or Vitamin B9, is essential for all synthesis reactions, from DNA repair and methylation to homocysteine metabolism and other important biochemical reactions, including protein synthesis and cell division. For this reason, among the first indicators of a folic acid deficiency we find fragile and weakened nails and hair, as they are essentially formed by proteins (including keratin). Folic acid therefore plays a fundamental role in the health and beauty of skin, nails and hair.
